The self-contained suite was thoughtfully appointed with great attention to detail, making it a delightful retreat after a long day. Gardens lined by a dramatic river, perfect for a peaceful 30-minute walk into nearby Corbridge, captivated the senses.
A minor quirk was the absence of a television, which might not sit well with those looking to unwind with some screen time. While the kitchenette was handy, the need to travel for meals could be inconvenient preferring more immediate dining options. The distinct odor present in the building was reminiscent of old structures, which some may find distracting but didn't affect our comfort significantly.

The suite was spacious and offered lovely views of the river, making it a relaxing place to stay. Breakfast options included a variety of cereals, fruits, and homemade jams, which were convenient and enjoyable.
While the lack of a television in the room was noted, and some guests would have preferred a cooked breakfast instead of self-prepared options, it didn’t take away significantly from the overall experience.

Tranquil escape in Hexham 🌿
We really loved the sweet touches, like fresh fruit and biscuits every day! the riverside garden is just a chill spot to relax with a glass of wine and enjoy the soft sounds of water. Plus, the conversations with Susan were such a lekker personal vibe!
Just a heads up, brekkie is more DIY than traditional, but honestly, it worked for us!

A delightful riverside escape
Our stay at Dilston Mill was a charming experience. Waking up to the soothing sounds of the river and enjoying Susan's homemade breakfast creations, including fresh fruit and customizable options, made our mornings delightful. The garden was enchanting, providing a perfect spot for relaxation. It's just a short distance to explore the charming towns of Corbridge and Hexham.
While the ambiance was serene, the chilly weather limited our outdoor enjoyment of the picturesque garden. We wished for slightly warmer conditions to fully appreciate the beautiful riverside environment, especially for summer evenings.

A lovely stay at Dilston Mill Bed & Breakfast. The accommodation was spotlessly clean and provided everything needed for a comfortable stay, including a spacious suite with a dining room and kitchen facilities.
