The self-contained suite was thoughtfully appointed with great attention to detail. Gardens lined by a dramatic river, perfect for a peaceful 30-minute walk into nearby Corbridge, captivated the senses.
A minor quirk was the absence of a television, which might not sit well with those looking to unwind with some screen time. While the kitchenette was handy, the need to travel for meals could be inconvenient preferring more immediate dining options. The distinct odor present in the building was reminiscent of old structures, which some may find distracting but didn't affect our comfort significantly.

Opt for the homemade jams at breakfast. They enhance the good selection and perfectly complement fresh baked goods.

Tranquil escape in Hexham 🌿
We really loved the sweet touches, like fresh fruit and biscuits every day! The riverside garden is just a chill spot to relax with a glass of wine and enjoy the soft sounds of water. Plus, the conversations with Susan were such a lekker personal vibe!
Just a heads up, brekkie is more DIY than traditional, but honestly, it worked for us!

A good riverside escape
Waking up to the soothing sounds of the river and enjoying Susan's homemade breakfast creations, including fresh fruit and customizable options, made our mornings good. The garden was enchanting. It's just a short distance to explore the charming towns of Corbridge and Hexham.
While the ambiance was serene, the chilly weather limited our outdoor enjoyment of the picturesque garden. We wished for slightly warmer conditions to fully appreciate the beautiful riverside environment, especially for summer evenings.

Charming riverside escape with a personal touch

The accommodation was spotlessly clean and provided everything needed for a comfortable stay, including a spacious suite with a dining room and kitchen facilities. The breakfast selection was excellent, with options prepared in advance for convenience. The setting is beautiful, especially the garden and views of the river, ideal for relaxation after work.
A minor drawback was the need to travel out for meals.

I had an really good stay at Dilston Mill B&B. The setting was amazing, with a beautiful garden overlooking Devil's water. The tranquility and calmness of the surroundings were exactly what I needed for a relaxing getaway. The owner, Susan, was a wonderful hostess who made sure my stay was comfortable and enjoyable. She provided a self-serve continental breakfast each morning, a good way to start my day. The location of the B&B was also perfect, with easy access to attractions like Hadrian's Wall and various walking trails. The accommodation itself was cozy and well-equipped, with a small double bedroom, a spacious bathroom with a shower, and a kitchenette with a dining table. The mattress was comfortable, ensuring a great night's sleep. The highlight, without a doubt, was the magical garden area where I could unwind and soak up the beauty of nature. Despite the really good experience, I did feel that on wet days, the indoor relaxation area was a bit limited. this was a minor drawback compared to the overall wonderful experience I had. I highly recommend Dilston Mill B&B for a peaceful and rejuvenating stay.
